Snap-On Dentures
This is what a snap in denture or implant supported denture looks like. If you decide to go with a snap in denture, you can get either the mini implants or regular implants. However, I usually only recommend mini implants for someone who is older that has been in dentures for years, and just wants something more stable. I would not recommend mini implants for anyone under lets say 60. I had them for about a year with my upper snap in denture and while it worked great for me, #1 I continued to lose bone, and #2 the cost for maintaining the denture began to rack up. I am not against mini implants because they are great in certain circumstances. I just don’t think they should be used if a person has enough bone for regular sized implants.
